Bound by the Bonds of Love: The story of the Union of Irish Ursulines

Written by John Scally who spent several weeks visiting with and listening to the stories of Ursuline Sisters in Ireland, Wales and Kenya. It was in 1978 that three autonomous Ursuline monasteries in Ireland and their foundations, Cork, Sligo and Thurles came together to form the Union joined three years later by Waterford. Over these forty years the bonds of love and cooperation grew and matured until in 2018 the Union together joined the larger Roman Union of Ursulines becoming the Province of Ireland, Wales, Kenya.
