Ceramic Spoons Tray

Stable Door Pottery gives the traditional spoons tray a fun update with this colourful ceramic tray. The handmade tray is hand-decorated with multicoloured berries. The raised edges allow you to rest spoons comfortably on the side of the trey. The underside of the tray is decorated with Orla's signature hessian sack cloth finish. 

Orla’s work is entirely handmade from rolling the clay, designing and firing it, by hand. The final stages of decoration and glazing are also done by hand in the traditional manner. 

Orla includes the hessian sack cloth fabric into her hand built ceramics. Each piece has the hessian fabric rolled into the clay, leaving behind its distinct design; then the designed clay is formed by Orla to create a sack like container. These “sacks” are the functional contemporary and stylish home-ware collection of tea bag and kitchen utensil holders.
