Hurrah Hurrah
Lapwing Art Print
Lapwing Art Print
Despite being named the national bird of Ireland in 1990, the lapwing can be hard to find. Known for the black crest on their heads and the iridescent purple shades in their wings, lapwings are a treat to behold. They can be found on the wetlands of Cork Harbour in the autumn and winter months.
Hurrah Hurrah depicts the extraordinary harbour birds of Cork in a minimalist geometric style. The lapwing's unusual colouring and head crest are contrasted against a dark turquoise background.
The Cork Harbour Bird Series collects six prints of Cork's most recognizable birds. Each print is limited edition. Any of the Cork Harbour Bird Prints would make a fabulous gift for the nature lovers in your life and would brighten up any wall.
The Lapwing print measures 407mm(h) x 306mm(w).
This is a colour lithographic print printed on 300g Olin Rough paper stock.
