Cork Circle Print

"My most well-loved illustration, the Cork City Circle tells the story of the River Lee as it splits in two for a short distance forming an Island, the heart of the city. The Island takes centre stage in this illustration, depicting some of Corks most well-loved buildings and landmarks, with the Lee ebbing and flowing around it. Corks iconic bridges cross the Lee showcasing Corks splendid architecture along the outer circle of the illustration. The illustration captures the pink granites that form the footpaths along St Patrick’s Street to the beautiful grey limestones and red sandstones that form much of our beloved city."

Fiona founded Pear Shaped Studio in Cork in 2016. She designs and illustrates a range of cards, cushions, prints and tea towels in her whimsical style. All pieces are printed in Cork using small local businesses.
